Shy Robotics is a blog about robotics, makers and innovation. I started it in 2011, and I have been writing it ever since.

From a group of enthusiasts to one author

In 2012 the blog became an association. There were five of us, between Paris, Strasbourg and Dublin. On Saturdays we took things apart, soldered, filmed and wrote. Corentin Chéron brought the technical rigour, Laurent Morillon and Nicolas Languy ran the sailing boat project, Tahir Vico drew and filmed. I chaired the association and wrote the articles.

The association wound down in 2015. Everyone moved on, between careers and family life. Saturdays could not survive the distance. Our robotics workshops turned into cooking workshops, then simply into dinners whenever we meet. Robots rarely come up now. We still meet.

Since then I have run this blog alone. Tahir Vico still drops by, camera on his shoulder, to film the interviews.
