Le véhicule aérien sans pilote (UAV) X1 combine les capacités d’un avion et d’un hélicoptère pour fournir une panoplie de missions plus large. Ce design innovant est actuellement en phase de prototypage par les compagnies Suisse UAV (Swiss UAV) et Rheinmetall Airborne Systems (RAS).
C’est au meeting aérien ILA Berlin Airshow 2012 que Rheinmetall Airborne Systems (RAS) a choisi d’afficher son projet d’UAV hybride.
